Our Lady, teach us to rejoice in and respect our bodies divinely created. Let no one say that women were created as an afterthought - let no one speak disparagingly of our female form in all her Goddess-given glory! 

We were, all of us women,  made in the astounding detail which reflects the amazing complexity of the nature of the Universe - the soft petals of our rosy vulvas, the  succulence of the ripe fruits that are our breasts, the swelling  of our abundant wombs, and the many other blessings and miracles of our bodies to be both honored and delighted in.  

Rosa Mystica, Queen of Nature, may we learn to cherish always these blessings so lavishly bestowed upon us by the Creative Cauldron of the Universe!

A Summer Ritual Activity -

The Beauty and Form of Flowers

Ps : Take a full rose up off the altar and hold it in your hands.
Take up the altar book, say to Goddess and all -

"A miracle has come among us!
Here is a work of Summer wonder wrought by the Divine,
and utterly beyond our human hands to make.

Blessed are you, Lady Mother, for the fertility of this world.
We thank you for the sight, the feel, and the scent of flowers,
for the way their shape evokes in us the unfolding of our own
sexuality.
For their power to remind us of the glory
and the impermanence of physical beauty.
May our days of blossoming and of fading
be days spent in your presence.

Behold the lovely form of flowers.
Contemplate, and enjoy the blessing of such beauty."


Place the rose back on the altar, offering it to the Goddess - "Rosa Mundi, The Rose of the World".

Ritual helpers each take a bunch of roses and a bowl of rose petals
off the altar. Going deosil around Circle (space yourselves out a
little, two going to right of altar and two beginning across from the
altar), allow each congregant to breath in the scent of the flowers
and put a rose petal in each person's hand.
Return bowls and flowers to altar. Return to your place in the
Circle.
An Anointing of Rose Water

Ritual helpers come to in front of the altar.

Ps : "A flower gives out its perfume to all the world,
and yet retains its perfection.
So does the goodness of Summer come to all of us
without diminishing its source.

Blessed are you, Lady Mother, for the fragrance of this water,
whereby both Summer light and beauty may be manifest about us.
By sharing this perfume,
may we be of one accord in honor of the Goddess,
whose company we seek this season, and for evermore."


Ritual helpers each take a vial of Rose Water off the altar. Going
deosil around Circle (space yourselves out a little, two going to
right of altar and two beginning across from the altar), consecrate
each person who seems at all willing (probably all will be, but don't
force anyone!). Make the sign below on each persons forehead, or on
the palms of the hands. It is an old symbol for Summer.

Note : No graphic possible here, but the "Summer" symbol is a

"U"
shape. Another sign or rune could be substituted.

Make your Spiritual Blessing Sign, whatever that may be - mine is a circle done 3 times clockwise - and repeat:

Queen of the Universe, allow our hearts to become attuned to your celestial spiritual songs that play within them, and our senses to become open to the small earthly miracles happening around us every day. Open our minds like the unfolding Mystical Rose to accept and work your beautiful Magic of Love upon the Earth.
