These beautiful old twin ash trees,
I greet you and I honor you for the grace you give to this place.
I call upon you now to bear witness to my words.
I ask your forgiveness, your help and your blessings in this task of removing the old ash trees-
Old twin trees, I come now into your presence to give you thanks for
abiding with me and I humbly ask your forgiveness.

Know that your spirits
will be honored by those who take relics from your wood. I honor you.
Others will honor you. You will not pass forgotten.

I bid you peace and a loving goodbye.

Nature spirits - in removing your home of many years, I bid you peace, and I ask your forgiveness, and humbly and most earnestly request that you
remain here in the new trees I will plant on this spot.

I pray the new
trees will provide you a

healthy new home for many more years to come.

Know then always that I came with sorrow and with love and did not do this thing lightly.
